AzCIA has three membership categories: Full Member, Affiliate Member and Inactive Member. Any individual or entity shall be eligible to be a Full Member. The admission of any Member shall be subject to approval of the AzCIA Board of Directors. All Members approved by the Board of Directors shall be required to pay an annual membership fee in an amount fixed by the Board of Directors from time to time.
Voting Privileges: Only Full Members and Affiliate Members in good standing shall be entitled to vote on matters subject to vote of the Members. Each such member shall have one vote on each issue to come before the membership.
Board Service Qualifications: Only (i) individuals who represent Arizona Captive Owners or Arizona Service Providers who are Full Members, and (ii) up to two (2) other individuals representing Full Members shall qualify for election to the Board of Directors.
Affiliates: Those individuals employed by dues-paying full member companies. Affiliates have voting privileges and may serve on the AzCIA Board as well as on AzCIA committees.

Dues to AzCIA are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes, buy may be deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses. Consult a tax advisor for a final determination of deductibility. |
Membership is open to all captive insurance companies and all individuals and entities with a bona fide interest in the promotion, development and maintenance of captive insurance, all of whom are either directly involved in captives and/or support the development of a quality captive environment.
