A licensed attorney in Kansas and California, Matt Cobb brings legal expertise in business transactions, taxation, captive insurance companies, life insurance, and annuities to his role as a vice president in Dimensional's Institutional group. Matt works with institutional clients, including many life insurance companies, to expand the firm's presence in the sub-advisory space and also with financial advisors to develop the firm's insurance business. With advisors, Matt is typically focused on assisting with advanced financial planning techniques such as estate planning and investment-oriented insurance implementation. He also has extensive experience with private placement life insurance. Prior to joining Dimensional, Matt worked as a vice president with the executive benefits consulting firm MullinTBG. He is licensed to practice in several federal courts, including the US Supreme Court. Matt has been published in several legal journals and was a contributing author for Protecting the Land: Conservation Easements, Past, Present, and Future. In addition, Matt was a longtime member of the Board of Visitors of the School of Politics and Economics at Claremont Graduate University. He currently sits on the Board of Advisors for the University of Kansas School of Law. Matt earned two bachelor's degrees and his JD from the University of Kansas, and he received his master's in international law from the University of Edinburgh.

Thomas Palmer is the founding principal of Claremont Capital Management. He has been working in the finance industry since 1988 and has served as the CEO / CIO for Claremont since 2003. He is responsible for managing over $350 million in client assets, primarily for clients in the insurance industry.
